How do you like your stake..................?

As the sun shines (off and on :-), our thoughts begin to turn to decorating outdoors! We have gotten some great garden decor items in...........one of those being.........stakes - garden stakes that is!

There are so many styles, colors, heights, etc. to choose from that there is certainly one to please everyone!!!

These stakes are smaller and would look great in a pot!

This one glows in the dark after being charged by the sun all day - very cool!

And this one may be a new word for you again - it's an armillary - I just call it a really cool looking stake! I want one for my yard!(it comes in black too!)

We have also added many different styles of trellis (okay how do you pluralize that word?!?!?!?). I love how adding a trellis as a backdrop to your flower bed gives it a whole new look.

I know the last couple days have been cool and rainy again, but as I am typing and look outside, there is sun streaming through the window here at Grandiflora. If I were you, I would start sprucing up those flower beds now, so when we hit 70 degrees again...........you can sit back with an ice tea and just enjoy!!

Don't forget Mother's Day is coming up on May 10th - I think something new for mom's flowerbeds would be perfect, don't you?

It's officially spring on Friday!

Can you believe it - we've survived the winter - mostly! Hopefully we won't see anymore snow! Here at Grandiflora we are so ready for spring - inside and out! Today I'll share with you the outside - tomorrow the inside! The girls spent hours sprucing up the garden with some beautiful pots, fun garden stakes, topiaries and some new plants. You really must come see! They also purchased some "frost-proof" pots - which would've been helpful this past winter!! :-) Here are some of the pots being loaded onto the good ol' faithful pickup!

Here's Trisha working hard - believe it not we got them all unloaded without getting wet!! She even had to take her coat off because the sun came out and it was warm - a new sensation!!

Personally, I think these are beautiful! You have to see them to appreciate the coloring - dark red/burgandy with a blackish/iridescent color on top!

Don't you love how cheery the blues and turquoises are?

Reds anyone? It happens to be my favorite color!

If you come through our garden, you will be greeted by this new fountain! I love the sound of water running - it's so relaxing. We only received one of these so you'd better get in before someone else nabs it!

Hope you've enjoyed the garden tour.......................please come in and check it out, it's much better in person!
