So happy to have you here at our blog!

We've been showing you so many items for the Holidays since it's that time of the year.

However,

Our shop is filled with wonderful everyday decor items as well!

We have some really great consignors who provide us with lovely art and vintage items.

We heavily "jury" every item that comes into our shop so that it fits in with all the "looks" we have going at the moment.

Kris Kabobs at Grandiflora

Just a quick little update as we are SO BUSY right now for the Holidays!

I thought you'd enjoy seeing one of the biggest hits of the Holiday season...

KRIS KABOBS!!!

We sell these delightful Candy Kabobs every year at Halloween (Witch Kabobs) and again at Christmas ( Kris Kabobs).

My kids LOVE THEM!!!

The coolest thing about them???

They are made right here in the Beautiful Pacific Northwest!

Shopping local is a beautiful thing....and when it's candy....well, that's even better!!!

Walkin' in a Winter Grandiflora Land!

I can hear it already...."OH DEER .....IT'S CHRISTMAS???"

LOL...Tee hee hee :o).

Don't you just love the Holidays?

I mean it... I actually LOVE the holidays.

I'm sure that's why we have such a lovely store at Christmas time.

Our family grew up surrounded by magical holiday decor, hanging dazzling lights, and decorating fresh cut Christmas Trees from our Dad's Tree farm Alpine Meadows in Acme, Washington.

That being said, not only do we stock up on great red and green traditional holiday decor (see previous posts) we thrive on finding those new and irresistable looks you can't find just anywhere else at Christmas.
This year we have a lovely selection in our Winter Wonderland look.
Both flora and fauna are on display throughout the first floor with birds being the number one choice for our customers.

Antique and vintage sheet music wreaths and ornaments seem to be very hot this year, and our own consignors are bringing in so many lovely hand crafted goodies to choose from.

Aren't they lovely?

I must remember to grab one of those sweet little birds carrying the heart in it's mouth....they are quite literally "flying" out the door!

:o)

All of the white, cream, silver, and frosted gold make for a lovely pairing with the soothing aqua tones that are so hot right now in home decor.

Sadly, my camera cannot capture the warmth in these displays....but believe me, you just want to sip hot cocoa and curl up in this corner!

Have you ever noticed the porch on the fun little "cottage" that we have in our store? I'll tell you a little secret:

When we did the remodel on this building over 10 years ago, we salvaged and reused as much as we possibly could ( we were green even before it was cool! :)

The "cottage" that you are looking at is made from remnants of the exterior original siding, tin roofing off of numerous old outbuildings, new posts sandblasted to look old, and very antique ornate corbels salvaged from an old family home.

Isn't that cool?

We think it turned out very nicely!

This display is wonderful made from old salvaged doors and filled to the brim with lovelies this Christmas.

So many great things mixed up for the Holidays.

I could spend most of the day just staring at this display. La Von (my sister and my partner) did such a nice job with Kim ( our floor manager) that I'm actually jealous they got to work on it without me!

The colors are sublime!

Our sales rep told us that their number one reorder item for this season has been the great frosted "tree" votives that you see here.

I don't expect them to last long...

remeber, if you see something you like at Grandiflora...you'd better buy it when you see it as we are specialty, and often don't have backstock.

I think that keeps things exciting and changing often at the shop.

However, I've not only seen folks learn the hard way by waiting....I've also experienced it myself!

I've learned to grab the thing I want before it's gone because it might not be here next time.

Don't forget that we have plenty of everyday decor mixed in with all of the Holiday decor too!

As a matter of fact our girls are feverishly trying to put out all the new items we've received recently. There's even a huge order on the way filled with MORE NEW EVERYDAY DECOR!!!

It's Beginning.........

Guess what?!?! It's that time of the year again. The Holiday Season is fast approaching, and we are well on our way to updating the store with lots of new Christmas Decor!!! :)
There are SO MANY great "looks" this season. Here are some photos of just a few...

We have styles all accross the board from retro to modern, and cute to sophisticated.

The beauty of it all is that we aren't even finished putting them all out yet....so there is much more to be discovered!

That being said, we are still in a mess at the shop now....so be prepared to shop from boxes for a few days yet as we scramble to finish what we've started! :)

I'm actually having a difficult time deciding which look I like the best.

I guess I'll just have to wait until it's all out in displays before I do my judging.

However, things are beginning to sell quickly....so I'd better grab what I want quickly as we don't keep backstock!

What you see is what there is at Grandiflora. I've had to learn to grab what I want when I want it the hard way.

All that being said, there is still plenty of good stuff to choose from here....but don't wait too long to come in and see what's up!

Well hello there everyone!

Autumn is finally here, and for the most part it has been a beautiul one at Grandiflora!

We have been SUPER BUSY with SO MANY changes going on at the shop...that it has been very difficult to capture it here on the blog.

For that we're sorry...

However....there is good news to be shared!

Which is GREAT, since so much has been going out!
