Wow...So Many Unique Pieces in Just Now!

I couldn't help but share this lovely piece brought in

 by one of our great consignors just recently!

The photo truly doesn't do it justice.

Painted with our very own

Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan,

this piece sports 9 drawers!

Great for a bedroom dresser,

or...

for a wonderful buffet in the dining room.

I don't expect it to last long.

We have sold more unique consignment pieces

 here at the shop than any other items this past summer!

However,

we do have a TON of new merchandise in right now too!

Not to mention the 39 boxes I just checked in earlier today from UPS.

( I believe they're lamps and candles...Yippee!)

Yikes!!

We have some serious unboxing to do in the next few days...

speaking of which,

just wanted to give you a heads up that we will be

 closed on

Labor Day Monday.

We figured we could use a little

R & R

ourselves after getting little kids back in school all whilst

switching the store over for fall.

Our Razzle Dazzle Party

 Hello Everyone!

I have to admit...this summer has sped by at such a rapid pace,

 that keeping up with all which goes on here at the store has escaped me!

I wanted to take a quick moment to share some great shots of our

Razzle Dazzle Party.

We had a really relaxed and fun night with an intimate gathering of loyal shoppers.

Summer is always a time where folks are so busy.

So...

 we were thrilled that they chose to spend this beautiful evening with us.

Slowly it Goes...Bringing in the Fall

Hello Everyone!!

How is your week going???

I hope it's well!

I know for some of you

 it's difficult sometimes to look at photos of Fall merchandise

when it seems like

Summer has finally decided to arrive!

However,

remember...there are MANY folks out there for whom

Autumn is their

FAVORITE

Season!

They have been asking when the Fall decor is going out for about a month now!

SO,

for those of you who adore:

-red leaves

-football

-hot cocoa

-owls

-crisp mornings & hot afternoons

-apples

&

-all things pumpkin....

WE ARE  BEGINNING TO PUT OUT THE FALL!!!

Just remember,

we are putting it out

S L O W L Y

so that all those

"can't bear to let Summer go" folks

don't have a heart attack when they waltz in the door.

We worked very hard every day to find all the best new lines and items to bring

reordered from over 10 existing fabulous suppliers.

The items we have coming are truly

Grandiflora "worthy"

MEANING:

they are super cute items for you and your home....

but not just that....

they are also affordable!

Would you like to know how hard we work to find the best prices for you???

I think the photo of La Von (above) pretty much sums it up.

We spend hours and hours walking through 3 rather large buildings with numerous floors,

& we negotiate as low a prices as we can possibly find for you.

It takes LOADS of COFFEE!!!

This all makes for a stressful 5 days at market.

HONESTLY?

Anyone could walk through this high design market and find

beautiful home decor and gifts....

HOWEVER

...I'm not sure if they could do it with the sort of budget that we work with for you,

our loyal customers.

Whenever you shop through Grandiflora and wonder why something is

REALLY INEXPENSIVE

you can rest assured we did our job well!

ON THE FLIP SIDE...

whenever you find something that you consider to be

EXPENSIVE

you can also rest assured that we did our job well....

meaning....

we found the most quality/cutting edge items for you at the lowest prices available to us.

Sure....

it may have been cheaper somewhere else...

but,

we are pretty picky about product quality.

Although we've had items come in from time to time with some issues....

we pride ourselves on selling quality, affordable & lovely items.

We hope you would agree.

SO...

after all that hard work we spent a few well deserved hours at the pool....

....it was 106 degrees....

but that's ok

it matched our attitude....

because,

we are always

"on fire"

for our great shop
