What's it called and what do you do with it?

When I started at Grandiflora I had no idea what these were called...................

I'm sure all our blog readers are up on their decorating terms, but if you don't know what this is called, it's a CLOCHE (pronounced closh with a long o).

Now....................what do you do with it? They always look so beautifully displayed in the store (trust me, these Grandiflora Girls know how to do things right!!), but what do I do with it at my house? Well here goes a Grandiflora blog tutorial..............................

Generally the cloche should sit on a plate, bowl or pedestal. Ours is sitting on a pretty green plate (we're going for the spring look). Add a small, simple pot.........

To ours, we've added a small fern to the pot, you can put any silk green, or flower in your pot, we have such a great variety to choose from in our store. Then, we added a small bird,(again, we have so many to choose from) and nest..............................

We tucked in a small sunflower for a pop of color, sprinkled some small stones and added a couple moss mounds...................................

To finish off our display, we propped up the nest, made sure the sunflower poked in just right, and rolled up a pretty yellow placemat to complete it all.

The Grandiflora Girls are great at helping you put things together, so pop on in and we'll help you add a touch of spring to your home. Who knows - maybe you'll learn a new word like I did!!
